Friends,
this may be a silly question, but here goes.....
Is Windows Media Player 11, suitable for writing photo files to a CD or DVD? I'm asking because I haven't done this before!
I have an external Seagate 500GB hard drive which I'm also using, but feel it would be a good idea to store my main images on CD or DVD?
Another question, how do I archive my raw files? Do I just leave them on the external hard drive?
I look forward to your replies. Be aware that all this stuff is new to me.
Frank.
I would not use Media player for this, it is a video and music player.
Many versions of windows come with a built in Burner piece of software, Xp and vista should. Also you often get some form of burner software with a new drive.
I would suggest using something like Nero or Easy CD.
And I back up the same files to DVD as I do to a hard drive. RAW files go across OK.
