I have just upgraded my wireless router before which my wireless printer worked perfectly well. Now, because I assume I have created a new network and the printer is not on it, the printer does not work from the laptop. I have gone through a couple of options trying to add the printer to the laptop but windows can't seem to find it ( and yes it was turned on, my main computer is hard wired and still works ok). There must be a simple way of adding the printer to the network but it escapes me, can anyone help?

Everytime my family change their laptops or new phones I have to key their IP addresses into the router software to enable access. If our laptops or printers are connected to the router by cable, then the computer network software controls it. This may be down to 'secure' access but it migt be worth looking at the router settings.

Hope this may be of help and I hope you find the answer as I hope to add a printer by wireless soon!! Please let me know how you get on, I shall keep an eye on this thread.

    Good luck

    Chris

Ah right, well my initial guess is you will have to search for the new router network name then the password etc.
Failing that if you can plug it into your computer, you could dowload the wireless utility thingy-ma-bob from the link below and I guess that works.

    Hope this helps
