From my suppliers website concerning meters.
You may have an older meter type which we haven’t mentioned here. A lot of these older meters have their own tariffs or plans which were created just for that type of meter.
They had been taking the right readings but then applying them to an in correct tarrif, its there problem.
I will be demanding that they come and inspect the meter to make sure there information correct once and for all and I`ll be insisting that any debt due to there mistakes are written off completely.
Glad to see you've got your arguing head on.....also, write everything down and every time you speak with them on the phone ask for a a phone reference number and photocopy everything.....then you can refer back and tie them in knots.
