Well let me add my thoughts. I have just purchased a Black LE X100. It arrived two weeks ago and I have managed 600 images before it stopped working and is, as I type, winging its merry way back to Fujifilm for repair. The IQ is wonderful. The reliability? Ask me another time. At the moment, I'm disappointed to say the least.
Break downs happen, in the early days Fuji`s QC was not that great, there were loads of faulty x100`s but they seemed to have turned things around for the better.
The bigest pull for me concerning the x10, x100 etc is the leaf shutters, very handy for off camera strobist type stuff.
That's made me even more aware of buying one, especially with the faulty ones.will I get a good or a bad one. ?????????

Early x100 where prone to problems, the later ones are just as reliable as any other camera.
