Thanks - this evening has been a mad flurry of this, that and bill paying - my brain is almost about to give up the ghost! I'll definitely come up with a theme tomorrow......

Thanks John - I'm just trying to come up with a theme - easier said than done - I'll have a bright idea before the day is out!

Back again - I've remembered what I wanted to set as a theme.......

It's going to be plant life - (as I like photographing plants). Something not many do in B&W so I thought it might be a nice little challenge.

Think Mapplethorpe, Blossfeldt, Weston - hopefully they will provide a bit of inspiration.

So, plants, flowers, veggies - lots to choose from! Get thinking and as usual images are to be uploaded by 8pm next Wednesday - 5th January 2011.

I've been trying to work out how to join in but this thread is long and there seem to be different threads and I'm getting confused.

Do we upload the photo to the group and add B&W Challenge in the title?

Right my flue has improved to the point I can walk for 10 min so off to the shops to get some suitable subject to terrify. Sounds like I can do this as an indoor shot..

Hopefully it'll be easy for everyone to find a photogenic veggie or flower - hopefully not quite so easy to convert to B&W successfully Wink
