Campaign to reduce Litter

Join this group if you want to do something about the amount of litter thrown down in our towns, coasts and countryside.
I want to create a huge database of images showing litter and its affects on our environment from a visual and harmful point. We can use the power of photography to communicate the mess being made by our fellow humans.

I would like people to join who feel strongly about this who can start local groups to create a reaction and help prevent litter.

We could create pick up groups too who go out and collect rubbish to help tidy up small but useful areas.

In the first instance please join and uploading photos and stories.

This will replace the Campaign Against Litter meeting group I stated before groups was built.

SandgrouseOn monday I discovered a load more fly tipping just outside where I work. Had a look through and manage to find some litter than could help identify the person who dump it, its been followed up by local authority. Also found out that one of the previous reports resulted in someone getting fined. Make raking through all the rubbish worth while!

photodesigner[quote] Smile. It would be great in time if something constructive could aslso flow from this group

I gave someone the link to this forum. She said the photos inspired her two young children to care more about there environment. They even pick up litter when they see it.

Toothwelcome Lily...I feel like a rant soon, no harm in that Wink Smile. It would be great in time if something constructive could aslso flow from this group, but for now the occasional rant is fine..
