This is the fifth Critque Buddies group.
The idea is that 7 people join the group on a first come, first served basis, then we all produce one Self Portrait shot to upload to the group.
The rest of the members of the group will then offer a detailed critique of the shot.
This group lasts till the end of July 2009, then a new group will be created and the process started again.
NOTE
If this group is now full, please go to

Sounds like a great idea, Im joining in as portraits are something Im not that good at and a self portrait should be quite a challenge.
Looks like my upload didn't work, perhaps because of the adult filter. You can find it here. http://www.ephotozine.com/u13593/gallery/1273020. I have already gotten critique that I look like I've gained weight, LOL.

Aye! It's showing now. I guess I needed to give it more time. ![]()

or get it sorted by a mod
There is a drop down menu on your picture which you should be able to assign to a meeting (as long as you've joined the group that is).
Argh, how do you lot do it. Ive taken about 100 this evening and hate them all, they are all utterly poop. I need help seriously! Becka, maybe you could give us novices a few hints on how to take self portraits? ;} pretty please, lol.

Sure Angi. I'd be happy to. What don't you like about the photos that you took? I think it's always a good idea to take lots of photos since you cannot see what you are photographing. I usually take over a 100 shots for each session. The one that I posted to this group, I took fewer shots because it was evening and the sun was fading. I'm willing to offer other suggestions, just let me know what you'd like tips about. ![]()
Thanks Beckas, Ive started a thread for advice in the forum
