Morning all, Many thanks for all your recent comments and support. This is another from the epz meet at Arundel Castle last Saturday.
I decided to have a play with this one in sepia and then frame it to look like an postcard. Not sure whether it has worked or not. Anyway here it is.

All thoughts and comments greatfully recieved.

Thanks for looking.

James

Super shot and presentation. It works for me - good work, very atmospheric with a classic, timeless appeal

Wonderful period piece - apart from the excellent clear focus and detail Smile - it could have been taken early in the 20th century - and I think the presentation suits it well

The Sepia toning and framing are quite effective and fit well together.

Including all of the base of the pump ( bottom left )
would be my only suggestion.

Thanks David.

I rather agree with you Jeff - unfortunately I didn't photograph enough of the lhs to be able to do that with an appropriately shaped oval Sad anyway I'll have another go and post it if I can make it work Smile

It works really well, but not sure about the red, perhaps a beige? Also, the pump needs a bit of straightening. Have tried some mods.

Thanks Pamela. I had a long think about the beige and a play in that direction, but nothing as successful as yours. I like your version 1 best. Regarding the straighten - I straightened to the wall but agree that I should have straightened to the pump.

Thanks again,

James

Had a look at the mods.
Personal choice I know, but still prefer the colour of the frame on the original upload as I think the beige is too bright for the sepia.
