Found another one in the Meet archives. This one I initially skipped because you can hardly see my favourite subject. But I think it may have merit after all.
As reported by others at the meet as well, we had typically Scottish weather - rain, hail, snow, wind, clouds: you name it, we had it. Oh, except a lot of sunshine, of course.
Anyway, here I was shooting in a hail storm. This was one of those rare moments when my filter wiping resulted in a usable shot. In the meantime, mist had started to envelop the Buachaille, and here it had almost disappeared from view.
Oh - I just thought of something. Keith's objection to the tree isn't relevant in this shot, because due to the mist, the tree doesn't obscure the mountain, LOL! ![]()
Please do tell me if you like it - and especially why! Comments and mods welcome!
Thanks for looking.

I like it Conrad, but possibly because I know what the mountain looks like so my brain can imagine the form that's lurking within the mist. Would a person who has no idea what the mountain looks like find merit in the shot though? Perhaps we shall never know as there can't be anyone on EPZ who fits the bill.

Good point, Dave. I've asked myself that as well, and to be honest I just don't know. Never mind. We'll just see what the other members think and leave it at that.
Thanks for your comment and thoughts!
And thanks, Tom.
