I agree about the eyes, but as she was in the middle of a song it wasn't convenient to ask her to stop while I make adjustments to my settings.
Being new to this stuff I know I can lighten the eyes in Photoshop but I don't know how to do it.

This is a super title for this pose! You can lighten the eyes by placing a mask over them and applying some curve. I don't have photoshop but Corel is similar. If you're unsure - go to Help - Masks - applying a mask etc or something similar. Also you can start a new question on a forum re this topic and get specific instruction for Pshop. Good luck.
