This group has been going for a while and hasn't actually met as far as I'm aware, so how about meeting at Focus on Imaging one day?

Haha the South would be better, I`d hate to bump into any of my Jeremy kyle type extended family from the Sheffield/Rotherham part of the world Smile

There's a real opportunity for members to use groups to build specific groups like a 4/3rd group but it seems there's a lack of enthusiasm for doing stuff like this. Judging by the response in this thread to Josh' request I assume that meet didn't happen?

No, didn't happen - but I'm still up for a meet - we could swap lenses, bodies etc Wink

More a question of geography, and cost of petrol, than anything else methinks! Wink

Agree normally, but we had many members going to Focus and I assume a fair few have 4/3 cameras.

A proper meet would be good and as Josh says, play with each others kit.

I know for a fact that part of the lack of enthusiasm is due to the now difficulty, either real or perceived, of using the members' meets / events / groups Sad

It's soon to be addressed. Just a few other things to clear and then we're on to it

Well I'm certainly up for a meet. I have been to some EPZ meets and have enjoyed them all. Smile

A technology-specific meet would be good too. Just a question of where.

I would certainly be interested in a meet. Unfortunately, I no longer have a car and would need to use public transport, So, realistically for me, a meet in London, Oxford, Cambridge or Birmingham would be within reach.
