Does anyone have a good book for identifying fungi?

Is there a website you'd recommend?

I use a DK pocket nature guide "Fungi" which has limited descriptions but has very good photos in it.
The best website I found is Roger's Mushrooms - amazing amount of information, perhaps a bit overwhelming for me! Roger's Mushrooms

I use a little pocket book - I think it's called Collins GEM Guide to Fungi or something like that. Not sure if it's better than your DK guide: I've not even opened it this year due to the lack of fungi in my locality.

The best book for fungi identification is; Mushrooms and Other Fungi of Great Britain & Europe by Roger Philips

This is a great site for finding stuff like fungi , boring flowers, birds on sticks etc. Wink

You can upload images for free identification once logged as well.

Good stuff - there's certainly a lot of websites but some rely on you knowing something, perhaps a little fungi anatomy, before you can get into them.
