Welcome to The Get Snappin' Photo group, Brain child of Noirín and supported by Friends and Family.

My thanks to Noirín for her contribution to-date and to everyone who took a turn judging in the last 18 months or so.

The Challenge:

The Challenge is just for fun.
The Judges decision is final (Smell the fear as past judges take their revenge on erring members ! ! ! )
The Person who sets the Challenge is the Judge for the Challenge. (You pick the picture you like the best or the one which best meets the challenge criteria you set. Your challenge-Your choice )
The Winner of the Challenge sets the next Challenge and Judges it.
Your Photograph must have been taken after the topic is announced.
Your Photorgraph must have been taken before the deadline. (It seems reasonable to accept any pictures uploaded before judging )
Unless otherwise stated in the challenge, the closing time for the challenge is 9pm on the closing date.

In the interest of the smooth operation of the challenge, I would suggest the following

If you are judging: Try and Judge early on the evening near to the closing time you set.
If you entered a picture: Check to see if you won. Because everyone will be waiting for you to set a new challenge.
If you win a challenge: Congratulations. Set a new challenge.

We are going to run 2 challenges side by side.
They will each run for a forthnight and close on alternate Sunday's.
If someone is late setting a challenge then members will still have plenty of time to take and submit their photograph.
Set the closing date for your challenge to be the second sunday from the closing date of the challenge you won.
