Hertfordshire Meet

OK... for all those who thought I would never make this real... this is the first Hertfordshire (or at least it is in hertfordshire) meet...

We will be going around Stockers Lake and the beautiful canals of Rickmansworth - it is mainly going to be a wildlife and landscape photography trip - but anything else if you can find it

The weather should be good as it will be in April.

Just as I am a junior should be forgotten here - I am a member of EPZ and the 'team'. Stockers Lake is a beautiful lake located near the border of London and Hertfordshire - in the Three Valleys District.

Lunch-wise, if you are that desperate for lunch you can have it in the bar at the Rickmansworth aquadrome. Otherwise, either bring it with you or don't bring at all...

Price per-person - Free.... (obviously)

You may get the odd suspicious look of passers by, but don't let this phase you!

I can only have a maximum of 10 people including myself on this meet, as it cannot get too overcrowded - long lenses and wide lenses are necessary

Itinerary:

1000: Arrive at Lake and meet by the weir over the bridge, by the entrance to the lake (PM me for directions)
1020: When everyone has arrived, we can do a few circuits around the lake, staying in the brilliant hides they have
1250: Those that need lunch run off and get it now, whilst others head over to the canal (I will lead the way).
1300: Meet those who had lunch in cafe
1305: Walk along the canals, either direction, both are beautiful - photograph boats, water and lanscape in general... there are lots of barges
1500: Return to Stockers Lake and do another circuit of the lake.
1730: Go home!
