Hever Castle

Saturday 5th April 2008 for a non-coastal Kent get together.
The idea is for predominantly Garden / Flower as photography is not allowed inside of the Castle itself.

29/03/08 Update.
Popped along earlier today and a few observations.

Car parking is next to the pub, opposite St Peter's Church and entrance to Hever Castle.

This is where I suggest we meet up, then if the weather is really bad we can decide if it is worth going in or not.

Off of the main paths, which you will want to do to get the best compositions , it was very muddy and is unlikely to dry out much this week, so good walking shoes / boots is advisable.

I am reliably informed by a member of staff that there should still be a good showing of daffodils next weekend.

There is plenty to photograph apart from the Castle itself... all I'm going to say is that the weeping willows are quite nice... the rest you will have to seek out for yourselves

There are the usual shops and cafes to spend your money, even had rolls of film ! !
