Here are the winners!

WINNER!!!

Ist Place: Vulpix: An unusual composition, having the subject so far to the right, but because the background is such a glorious shade of red it works! You've caught your mum and the fan brilliantly, very well thought out! (This would look so good printed out, framed and put on that wonderful wall!)

2nd Place: Alexandral: The red dye/food colouring has made some wonderful swirling shapes, against a lovely plain background - a brilliant idea!

3d Place: Gab_SP: The colours here are stunning - the red against the blue and white, absolutely beautiful! You've focused on the bubbles brilliantly, not easy through glass!

Sararose: A beautiful Pomegranate, the seeds look so pretty with the pips seeming to light up their centers. There are some wonderful water droplets too - you've focused brilliantly and managed to fill the whole of the frame with gorgeous tones of red!

ThestreetsofLondon: An iconic symbol of the UK, an old red telephone box. We really like the angle you've used to capture it. Having the sky white leaves all our attention on that gorgeous, eye catching red.

Alice170596: Brilliantly thought out. We really liked the curl of the tape measure as it flowed down the red cushion - you've managed to focus on the numbers brilliantly, they are lovely and sharp.

Jakester: Another telephone box, but it couldn't be more different! We really like the way you've focused on the tired, broken window and have managed to capture the actual telephone in the background - perhaps showing how the public telephone boxes are now a thing of the past.

JennyMoose: What an ecclectic mix - it's wonderful to see just how many red things you could find. A wonderful composition, with the perfect coloured background (red & black always look fantastic together). Very well thought out!

Cameraboy: You have managed to capture the atmosphere of the march brilliantly - the lads look so wonderfully smart in their red uniforms.

CanonGreg: We really like the tiny red bloom against that gorgeous green leaf - well spotted! The red just seems to shine out!

Digitalgirl: What a fantastic capture in very low light levels! The red stage and all the red spotlights make a wonderful entry.

Dan5: You have captured this red flower brilliantly! It's really difficult to capture flowers in the garden (they keep moving!). We really like the way you've managed to nearly fill the frame with the beautiful petals.

Congratulations to all those who entered - we may not have had a lot of entries, but they were all top quality.

Keep your eyes open for next month's competition! Wink
