llareggubI workin up close, I live on a smallholding so most of my work is nature based and used to wrok with a Dcr-150 but picked up a sigma 50mm macro 10 days ago and I love it

timtapleyHi all. I am a keen photographer of all genres but I particularly like nature, wildlife and macro work. I am seeking to improve all the time and am currently working towards an ARPS distinction with the Royal Photographic society, so any constructive critique or suggestions for improvement are always welcome. Having seen the quality of many of the images on ePHOTOzine I am sure it will help me to develop my technique and artistic appreciation.09/10/2011 - 7:23 PM

Andy_CundellI have just joined ePHOTOzine after a friend from work recommended the site to me. It's all very nice your family saying "Ohh thats a lovely photo" but I want people to look at my pictures and tell me where I went wrong and how I can improve them! I don't really know what type of photography I like best, so I am trying them all but macro excites me at the moment! For macro stuff I am using a Nikon 105mm and D90 although I am tempted to buy a close up filter to stick on the 105mm as well!11/01/2011 - 10:21 AM
MikeJGI just joined ePHOTOzine after leaving another 'forum'.So far in 2011, my 105mm f2.8 Micro VR lens hasn't been attached to the D300s!
I've been playing with a used 80-200 f2.8 AF-D instead.
I have some nice macros in my archives, maybe I'll post one to the gallery for comments to see what everyone here thinks.
