dmschmidtHello

My name is Michael, and I just joined the forum. I have taken a few macro shots in the past with a couple of different lenses (not the best), but have now decided that I'd really like to start getting into it more seriously.

I have a number of questions regarding equipment, and before I go ahead and post them I just want to confirm that I am posting in the right section.

Thanks

Michael

ScottellyI just got a Sony 30mm macro lens to use with my Sony A55! Yay! It's my first real macro lens. I'll shoot some stuff with it tomorrow and post a photo here tomorrow afternoon/night some time.

Margaret101I was so pleased with my first ever macro photograph. Nettles out of focus but the bee looked really sharp to me. Now I know what macro and really sharp means. Since I have been on this site I can only say I have been amazed and astounded at many of the shots I have seen and only hope one day I will be that good. The more I learn the more I need to learn. You think your doing well and then see just what can be done in photography.
