yes that is a duckling wrapped in candlewick bed spread! I rescued this one and its five siblings from the middle of the road about an hour ago and deposited them back in the nearest pond!!!

Aaaah Jade, this is incredibly sweet, and a great shot.
You've done a great job is showing the texture of the ducklings fur. It looks like it would be really soft to the touch. Great detail overall.
I'm glad you were around to save it (and it's brothers and sisters).

thanks for your comments about the duckling. I wish it had been than well thought out!! I just happened to have that bed spread in the car and the best way to catch a bird is to sling a blanket over it's head![]()
I did try in the midst of duckling may hem to get the different textures there are in a duck!!!!
