The ghost of a skull... It's fascinating how hints of a sculpture can remain when the surface has deteriorated to this extent.

I love the way this signifies what it is marking, the once ornate decorated headstone has decayed with time to leave the shadow of what it once was as has the person it was erected to commemorate.
