I like this as it has a story to it which the onlooking lady adds to. Can't help thinking that it is eye catching in colour as it must be rich in colours.

undoubtedly would work in colour but has a distinct `mono' feel..like the slightly blurred background

This is a real busy image for the eye and i find myself going round and round to different elements , great. Just the right amount of blur in the background.
Quick question - theres a defined halo in the bottom right and botton left (around the lady's trousers) is this due to post process or as it was ?

Hi there I have just looked at the original RAW file, there is an out of focus halo, which has been exaggerated by the post processing. The lens was 50mm set at f2 aperture which gave a good out of focus background.
