Nicely composed Eric but to my mind could do with more contrast and some sharpening.

Do you have any control over shutter speed, aperture and ISO on your camera? If so selecting a lower ISO would perhaps give a better quality image whilst still giving a sufficiently high shutter speed.

Thanks Bill, I think I may have told you before. that I do not have Manual setting on my Compact , I have tried setting Iso at 64 & 200 and shutter speeds in the
Menu, but when you take the Snap the camera picks its own settings. Eric.

hi Eric...had a quick look at the manual for your cam...it suggest you canb set the iso using the rec button..perhaps you have to be in P mode for it to kick in?

a good close up...very close!! WinkSmileSmile

Hi, Jeff,Cats_123., Thanks for your suggestion on the Camera settings, I have gone through the manual for the Camera,
140+ pages. and as you say you can set the iso, but I have not found P mode. When I set the iso it stays on for the next
shot only unless I do not switch the camera off. if I do not it will take a second shot then goes back to auto, it also turns
itself off, the longest setting for leaving it on is 2 minutes. Eric.
