Tried to get a dark brooding look in this image.
Thanks for all the comments and votes on yesterdays image as all ways they are very much appreciated.
I think you succeeded in your goal Cliff ! The sky is also dramatic A great image !!
Lovely image. I like the dark, brooding aura of it.
You have done excellent work here, Cliff. The sky looks enough dramatic!
You succeeded!! Nice Image!! I like it a lot!!
More dramatic than brooding, Cliff. A strong antique/old postcard feel to it. I would maybe clone out those power lines, not a major niggle but would finish it off nicely.

The above sums it up nicely...well done
Great range of tones and texture. My only crit would be the trees look a tad over-sharpened.
Very atmospheric and moody.A great subject for mono.
Didn't see the wires till I read Dave's comment, but I'd take them out too.
A cracking mono image. Love it
very dramatic image, great angle and perspective
I like this ..."a lot"
This is superb, Looks great in Mono
A nicely processed image with good detail.
A great presentation, well done. Eric.
Dark and brooding works perfectly here.
Nicely done dark image. Some detail apparent even in the darkest areas. I think a little boost in contrast might improve it. Some moire appearing in the roof tiles on viewing the larger image, but that would probably disappear on printing, with careful attention to print size? I'm wondering about the lighting. The topmost branches of the trees on both sides look like they have a little bit of haloing, but I'm not totally convinced that this image has been tonemapped. The border effect is very nicely carried out.
