On my Mac, you can't render lighting effects in 64bit. You either have to relaunch PS in non 32bit, or open the pic in PS4 (which is a reason to keep it when you put the upgrade on). In case anyone is interested. I may have got the terminology wrong, but I hope I can be understood.
Yeah! For some strange reason the 64bit version has issues with the Mac OS, Bit like CS/PS5 has a few niggles with Mac/OS and tends to crash things a tad....!!!
You may find there has been a fix on Adobes site, There have been several updates posted on their download pages.
Happens to all computers from time to time, Nothing is absolutely perfect, Not even Macs.
