I have never used Photoshop plugins and was wondering, what is everyone's favourite Photoshop plug-in and why?
Nik Colour Efex for me,which includes Silver Efex.
Easy to use, good previews & the option of using a brush tool instead of just plonking the effect straight onto the image.Silver Efex has some nice options for mono conversions, again easy to use & lots of options.
Down side...a bit on the pricey side ![]()
The Nik software packs, and Totally Rad actions (the sharpening tools in those are fantastic).
I'll have to have a look at a few of those. Any free plug-ins you guys recommend?
Another vote for "Virtual Photographer". I use it a lot.
"Eraser Genuine" is another useful freebie, that's by somebody called "Mehdi". I'm not sure where I found that.
Also, I'm currently playing with the free 30 day trial of Flaming Pear's "Flood filter" which is fun but not much use!
Jester.
hate tobe boring... but Silver EFX rocks..
and Virtual Photographer is the best freeby I've used
Silver Efex, Colour Efex and Virtual Photographer. I'd forgotten I'd already downloaded VP but I put it in Filters in CS4 just now after reading the above thread, then discovered it already on my desktop under Virtual Studio. However, I mostly use Silver, my favourite.
PanosFX is all i've tried so far (Free Bits), i really like the triple reflection for some photos.
I'll try some others Silver EFX sounds good, never new it was free (and hopefully works in PS elements 8)
