cats_123thanks for the link Moira. A fascinating mini-series.

I saw your note about learning Russian. I had 2 weeks at school some 40+ yrs ago and it still wrankles that I didn't get (or take) the opportunity to learn more. Arabic also looks a fascinating but difficult language to `understand'. Smile

mrswoolybillOnce or twice in the past I've used this bit of the group to try to draw attention to outstanding work that gets neglected in the Main Gallery. Can I ask you please to take the time to look at sherlob's portfolio. He is uploading a series of pictures from a former presidential residence in Tunisia, ransacked during last year's revolution. I do indeed have a remote (somewhere at the bottom of my camera bag Sad). I think I have used it once (better chcek that the battery still alive anyway).

I should have the chance to get out and about tomorrow (dependent on weather), so monopod is coming with me Smile

My last upload (Monopod 2) was taken using `auto', so it's interesting to see that the D60 used iso 200. I would have expected something much higher.

I have a lot to learn, but hopefully, plenty of time to do it in.
