Taken with an A99
I had a pub lunch today, I walked into the bar, and the barmaid reminded me of a Pre-Raphaelite painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The painting is called Proserpine, 1877, which depicters a girl with a pomegranate. I asked if she would mind if I photographed her and had her permission to use it. She was quite keen and, I asked her to sit by the window.

Thank you Richard, I admire your' portrait work.
Kingfishers will always be my forte, but, i must try other things as well.
Alan
It looks very realistic Alan. I would think it is an HDR image, because I would expect the window to be blown out, from the bright daylight outside. I guess things just came together perfectly that time, so you could capture such a beautiful image. Nice choice of location and model (and nice choice of lens and camera!). It looks like a perfect exposure.
I believe in your description you are referring to Persephone, from Greek mythology (the goddess of the underworld), right? She is often depicted in paintings and statues as a woman in robes, holding a pomegranate.
