This group is devouted to the use of off camera flash (i.e not attached to the cameras hot shoe). Please include details of the lighting set-up. Where the flash(s) are placed, the power settings any modifiers etc.
The aim of the group is to promote and improve off camera techniques.
Note the group is for portable flash units (Strobes) and is not intended for studio flash units

Well i have joined the group as i want to have a go at this i have got the following gear and think i should be ok to use this for srobist photos
Metx 44 AF-1 Flahsgun
Hahnel Remote control and flash trigger
Had a little play with all this with my Nikon D3000,So i now need to sort some more gear out,first thing is a light stand and brolly aould you point me in the right direction for these plese,i have seen a few on line but am not too sure what one to go for.
