I'm intrigued! Rich blacks, abstracted spirals - very nice work.

You'll have to tell us what it is after the judging, unless it's a secret Wink

Was this taken after they called time! Great fun guessing what it is, that's why I like it!

ok I'll tell...first a little background info.....really struggled to come up with an idea, then this idea popped up from somewhere, just needed a bit of time to set it up and experiment. Wednesday morning should have done fine. Set it all up then couldn't find the lens I wanted, another lens had gone missing as well, plus all my spare batteries, panic stations, had I left them at my last wedding job the other week, nope found them in the wardrobe in the spare room. Kay (aka wife person) had a tidy up in preparation for weekend visitors.... what's wrong with my camera bag?
Upshot of the panic was had very little time to experiment, so..............

the idea...............it's a wine glass and it does have a spiral pattern on it..and I thought can I make a spiral pattern out of the base by swinging it around........answer...well yes but in this case not too successfully....

so there you have it..it's a swinging wine glass...I fully intend to return the the theme and do it properly....some time Tongue

Very clever shot. Do you have many glasses left in the set?
