Another graffiti shot of DOLK's work. This was too good to pass up seeing the two scooters there under the two lovers.........
Made note of some of the good crit on the prior upload and toned down my grain and there is only a hint of vignetting here, but I still have a slight problem with imbalance. Don't know that anything could be done with that. The wall on the left goes on and on, and there is a larger drain pipe on the right hand side. Sometimes you just take the shot when you can.
I've not removed or fixed the grungy wall - it sort of suits the image for me at least.

+ I like the subject.
+ I like the composition.
+ I like it.
I can't think of anything I particularly dislike about this.
I do feel the light and mid-tone areas on the bikes could be lighter to give the bikes more impact and act as immediate focal points.
The street cobbles could do with extra contrast to boost their patterning.
Thanks Alan ![]()
I definitely agree about the bikes not standing out more. It was one of the problems I was trying unsuccessfully to tackle during the conversion. It's the black seats against that dark grey concrete wall that is difficult.
I'll go back and see if I can work those colour sliders a bit differently and maybe do some dodging to bring out the bikes, and at the same time work on those cobble stones.
Thanks so much for your time and input.
Anne
