Had this in my archive for a while now, messed about with it on several occasions including giving it the HDR treatment, still not happy with it and it's just a click away from the Recycle Bin. One day I like it, then next I don't.....So with this in mind I reckon it's the perfect shot for this group. Be as brutal as you wish, it's all water of a ducks back to me......

I don't do very many landscapes - I should try to do some just to understand what makes them work. So this is my 2cents worth, and that might be all it's worth!
+colours of the leaves/vegetation are pleasing
+water movement
+detail
-composition - the waterfall is way too far to the left in the image.
-water is blue toned
-shadow areas are too dark
didn't realise you could comment if you were not a member of the group..... chris isn't in the group....
Quote: As I thought then guys, one for the trash.....Thanks for your honesty!

No. It's not that bad.
+ Nice colours in the vegetation
+ I like the water movement
+ Waterfall interesting
- Waterfall too far to the left
- Vegetation takes up too much of the photo
- Slight colour cast in the water
The point of this group is exactly what this photo is about. For constructive criticism. With the above points taken into account a better picture should result.
+ Good shutter speed to illustrate movement
+ Exposure maintained most of the detail in highlights / shadows
+ Viewpoint distance good
- Position not good, waterfall too far to left, river too far to right.
- Overall scene looks dull, despite potential with colours and shapes
- Nothing to hold interest
I saw this one and was surprised, as your bird shots on your PF are so very good but here you could have got a good shot if you had thought about it more.
- Is shot upright and should have been shot flat
+ There is a nice close crop in there from the bottom left of the tree
- Need a few curves to show the tones in the rocks
+ The greens are varied and not over saturated at all
- I am not a lover of milky water with slow exp...Just me I know most togs love it...
+ There is another crop in there too in the middle, without the waterfall, with the shade and the tree and that little rock mid right...will do them now...Thanks Chen.
