well thanks for your votes on my last uploads and i told you i was of to the goose fair so this is what i ended up with
Great set Garry, really do like V2 out of this set.
Lovely series of night shots captured so well, but I love V4 which might deserve a separate treatment.
Some good night stuff here, Gaz, an area of photography I've never tried - yet!
"Sticking with my selected poems for today this one may strike a cord Garry?"
Come join me in this fairground we call life
Popcorn and candyfloss for brains
Pick up a loaded gun and earn yourself a teddy bear
Floating ducks with hooked heads in stale water bob, bob bobbing around
Have yourself thrown about on the carousel till your sick
You are a fairground attraction lit up like a summer night in June
Showing off your skin to the Carny’s while paying with your soul
Strike the hammer off the plate to ring the bell, does it toll for you
Taken to the bone yard so they can have their fun
You are their “Mark” spotted the minute you entered the grounds
Check the kitty then take you for a ride in the haunted house, scare you silly
Visit the Sugar Shack and suck on a toffee apple till teeth spill from your mouth
Flashing lights, cheesy disco tunes fight with your senses
Shoes stuck in mud while it slurps at your heels, ketchup down your blouse
Tattooed hairy arms grab at you pulling you to that dark place between caravans
Grass stains to add to your already ample collection of this life
Come join me in this fairground we call life.
very nice sets great captures
A geed collection, Garry. v1 maybe needs a crop on the left. v2 is my favourite, the silvery colours look great. v4 I like for the movement in the candy floss.
Good low light shot
V2 for me. Nice light control.
A smashing set of images capturing all the fun of the fair, v2 is my favourite

If you’ve ever dealt with high-contrast lighting - a landscape under direct sunlight or a brightly-lit screne shot from inside a darkened room - you’ll appreciate what Active D-Lighting has to offer!
If you have the camera on a tripod during live view, you can zoom in on your subject in the monitor for precise focus.
For subjects that are in motion, choose Dynamic-area AF.
If your subject is poorly lit, shutter speed will slow and pictures may be blurred. You can choose a high ISO sensitivity for faster shutter speeds and sharper images.
This option controls how autofocus adjusts to sudden large changes in the distance to the subject during continuous-servo AF.
