Not one of my best for sure but I thought I'd give it an airing as it is the best of about 20 takes (the rest already consigned to trash) and the result of a wet afternoon's work.
May yet get consigned to trash though.
My thanks to all who commented on my last posting Gold at the End of Day.

I totally agree with Jocelia, Ronnie.
A great shot indeed, and guessed it was one of yours from the Gallery thumbnails.

A KS special, Ronnie. The light on the foliage gives a lovely depth and the reds have some excellent shades. What is obvious though, is the care you have taken in getting such a good arrangement of the blooms, size, shape and orientation.

The intense red is so well recorded, it is a sensual firework
Wonderful!
Gorgeous vibrant Red Ronnie, not always easy to Photograph. A lovely image indeed.

Quote: You are far too hard on yourself Ronnie - nine out of ten would think they had hit the jackpot if they could produce work of this standard.
Joan.
I know I would Ronnie, looking at my rubbish flowers, not seen a bad flower shot of yours that I can remember, congratulations on the awards well deserved, regards Leon.![]()
