A beautiful dawn sky, Phil. The viewpoint is higher than usual getting the flowers in the foreground. A lot less imposing and moody than most from here. Very icely done.

Expertly controlled exposure, Phil. It's not easy to avoid blow out from here but this has detail and beautiful tones throughout. Nice one.

That's more or less what was going through my mind. I guess this is about the flowers, rather than the castle. A gentler, less intimidating view.

It's nice to see a different perspective of this popular location. Lovely colour & tones, and the use of the flowers as fg interest balances it all nicely.
Ian.

Like Dave says, a different viewpoint so you have managed your own interpretation. It's very effective with FG flowers then a nice curved lead in to the focal point of the castle and that lovely sky beyond.
