I'm back and didn't get eaten by crocodiles.

Before up-loading some of the photos from the recent trip, I'll finish the series of photos taken last September: the Split Point Lightstation (see V3 and V4), along the Great Ocean road is called the 'White Queen'. It is a 34 metre high lighthouse located in a small town, Aireys Inlet, along the Great Ocean Road. It was built in 1891 and was converted to automatic operation in 1919.

A short walk from the Split Point Lightstation there are fantastic views on the ocean and the coastline.

Eagle Rock Marine Sanctuary is home to a huge variety of marine life. The rockpools around the sandy coves in the area are rich in marine life.
