Thanks to Moira (mrswoolybill) & Ann (Pluckyfilly) who gave me advice on my windowdressing image I was able to go back to Harvey Nichols and try again for photos without reflection.
The denim in a tube was too big and too close to the window and I couldnt get a decent composition. I think I needed a ladder.
But I went round to the front to try there.
Fortunately I asked the doorman if I could take photos ... so when security rushed out to see what I was up to .. he kept them out of my way..
The window dressing is in fact created from the London Team.
A very big thankyou to mrswoolbill for her useraward for my first window dressing image. A real honour for me.
edit;..the sound advice I was given was to put the camera lens against the window

I've lectured about this before, Mother Nature always reclaims her own. The tree is reclaiming her little elf, no more to wander in the woods.

The pose is a bit wooden, and she looks bark-ing mad. Nice to see you breaking free of your roots and branching out into new photographic territory. Sorry, been up since 03.20, am a little light - headed and at times like this my sanity is just a thin veneer!

Stepping out of you comfort zone is often quite nerve racking, and generally takes sometime in which to become adjusted to the changes, but you seemed to have grabbed hold of your creative side, and ran wildly into those woods a-yonder. Simply superb

extremely well conceived and executed.. wonderful, and though quite an abstract idea, one starts feeling sympathy with them.
So glad you didn't give up and you tried again, a little tip I was given some time ago no idea by whom, as you have proved it does work and very well to if I may say so well done Barbs (I do have some uses at times)
I thought this was the model Twiggy when I saw the thumbnail, but as usual I was barking up the wrong tree. Good to see you branching out into other forms of photography
