...just had to capture the White Stuff
Not the prettiest of scenery, but as said before, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for images until I go to Stratford-upon-Avon next week for a few days. So, on getting up this morning and seeing the snow, went downstairs and grabbed the camera and took a few shots. V1 was looking straight ahead from my bedroom window, V2, V3 & V4 from outside the front door. And no, the high fence in V2 isn't to keep us imprisoned, it's outside the school across the road, a few yards left of V1. I changed to my macro lens for the close-ups in V3 & V4.
I'd like to thank Ann (pluckyfilly), Trev (achieverswales) and John (alsoppdigitalart) for their UAs on my previous upload 'Llandudno from the Pier' - I'm really chuffed! ![]()
Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.
Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

excellent reportage
V4 wins a vote from me today
I know the feeling well, Trev, having to resort to capturing images more and more on the home front: no snow here at ground level in the west of Scotland although the high peaks just to the north are well coated in the white stuff.
Nathan has summarised these shots so well, and I go along with his remarks.
"Roll on Stratford" I hear you saying.
Ronnie.
A fine set, Trev. v1 is so timeless and reminds me of a water colour print.
Dave
All I can see from here is snow, Trev.
On the other side of the double glazing, I mean ![]()

Like your snow offering Trev, V1 for me.

Trev.
I like the close up shots decorated in snow crystals but I also like the street scenes showing the wintry weather, very typical at the moment - I took a few shots but in raw and with the new camera not supported in CS5 not yet worked out how to view and edit them![]()

I do hope you were awake enough to have remembered to put some clothes on before flashing your zoom lens out the bedroom window, Trev! ANd, I don't believe you about the fence, I reckon it's electrified!

Great snow series. Like you I hanen't been out very far for the last few days.

V1 v2 has a lovely feel about it, very well presented with the verticals been just that, good captures Trev like them a lot.
