Monks from the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery of Mysore India in exile from Tibet, perfom a ritualistic dance to the beat of a Tibetan drum.
The monks await the return of the Panchen Lama, their spiritual leader, who was kidnapped along with his family & the Lama's who found him in Tibet.
They were all incarcerated , & have never been seen or heard of since.
The Chinese authorities refuse to comment or release detail of any type. The Panchen Lama would still be one of the youngest political prisoners in the world today if still alive ..at the age now of 23 after 17 years of incarceration.
Many Tibetan monks are held as political prisoners & endure extreme hardship, & the practice of their customs & traditions is still clamped down hard on in Tibet.
