Fujifilm today announces that it has appointed Hayley Buery as its new UK Public Relations Manager. She will have responsibility for the implementation and management of consumer, trade and corporate PR for Fujifilm UK.

By the 1st July 2006, the RoHS Directive (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances) will have contributed to the removal of six hazardous substances from electrical and electronic equipment.
In a brief statement released today, Adobe have announced that they've acquired Pixmantec, the company that makes the popular, and free Rawshooter RAW processing software. Adobe have now also posted a FAQ explaining how the acquisition will affect existing Pixmantec customers.

Fuji Hunt's current Managing Director, Paul Borloo has been succeeded by Shinichi Fujii who was previously manager of the finishing division at Fuji Photo Film's factory in Ashigara, Japan. Fujii sees inkjet as a still expanding field, and intends to capitalise on it to sustain Fuji Hunt's business.
