I know i should know what this is but, my memory is refusing to tell me Smile. Anyway I took this a little while ago at the botanical gardens, hope it appeals.

Thank you all so much for all your C&C's very much appreciated.

The lighting here is excellent,Hugh, illuminating one side of the head, leaving the other in relative shadow.
They make such excellent floral subjects, and even when fading and turning brown and other shades, they still retain a degree of beauty.

A little different from your usual flower studies Hugh, but lovely shades of blue and green, and superb detail.
Patrick

Hydrangea's are beautiful and sometimes hard to photograph, but this is just great, as Ronnie says with the lighting being terrific..Jo

So dainty and precise up close. They're not attractive flowers to my eye, when seen at a distance - heavy and clumsy. But up close like this they're a delight.

Beautifully captured. I would clone/crop the white blobs on the right edge. They draw the eye away from the flower
