A mother Mallard, taken whilst on holiday in Cape Cod, MA, USA in May. She started off with 10 ducklings, but every day a couple were missing and she finally ended up with 2. There are Snapping Turtles in the pond Sad

Many thanks for your C&Cs on my Greenfinch upload - very much appreciated as always Smile

Like the crop applied leaving the family plenty of room for the family to swim into.
Nice shot, Sylvia.

A lovely sight Sylvia, nature is just so raw!!!

We witnessed a Snapping Turtle laying eggs on the banks of Lake Superior and were warned to stay well away as they'd have your fingers off - so I don't expect those little ducklings stood a chance!!!
