Beautiful image Lesley - Some summer we are having eh !
Chris
Excellent detail and perspective with the wide angle lens, Lesley, with a good strong composition. July up here was cold at times too and rather wet. However you have captured some lovely colour here despite the cold and the early start to the day.
Ronnie.
Viewed large this is a real cracker Lesley, Beautiful light and detail on the pier.
Derek
This is a lovely image with excellent comp, subtle light and tones.
Regards
David
This is a classic view but your image is strong for me because the rail coincides with the horizon. It gives a very clean, uncluttered look - plus enigmatic, in that we cannot actually see the sea end and the sky begin.
I slightly prefer the colder V2, but it's close.
Moira
Great natural light Lesley, good composition.
Would like to see this in a letter box format with a bit of a lower perspective maybe?
Quote: Hi Al, i wanted the railings on the horizon to keep the comp tidy, but next time i'll try different POV.lesley
Ah, guessed that was your aim... ![]()
Glad to see you had no camera shake when you took this what with mincing around on those wooden boards LOL

Sorry Lesley it was only meant as a joke hope it did not upset you that is the last thing I wanted to do

A great shot, it was pretty cold whilst when I was there on Wednesday, had to be careful with the filters, too expensive to drop down those boards!
This has great light, I'm very envious!
By the way that modification is terrible - sorry.
Michael
Always great to see, this, even if it has been done millions of times! Nice one, Lesley.
