these two dogs are so special, both came to us in a terrible condition and some of you know the story from a v2 picture with my last poppy image. Zak the large one was dumped at 12 mths old with every bone in his body showing - too weak to lift off the floor, and Sammy came later and had been left for dead in the local woods and had too many broken bones to mention including his nose. He had no fur and fleas in the ears... terrible state. After much tlc they now enjoy a comfy bed and a good run twice a day in the fields. This field was just a couple of fields away from our home and was a joy to see and visit.

Hope you have a lovely weekend everyone

Linda x

A wonderful shot with a wonderful story attached to it Linda! You are so very lucky to have locations like this on your doorstep! I think I am going to miss 'poppy season!'

With this particular shot Linda I think the framing needs to be of a more neutral colour as there is so much obvious red in the shot and though it binds the picture with the frame I feel it is just a little to much.

Nothing wrong with the picture at all - it is lovely.... just the frame aethetics.

V1 works better for me against the black background - I actually find the grey more distracting. The most unusual poppies shot I've seen, and really delightful.
