Ronnie, fine clarity and colour in the 2 shots with good placment of subject...........if i had to pick I would say v1. Your Sony takes a fine shot.
Paul.
The old buildings are a bonus. This guy is heavy duty among horses. V2 is a complete and satisfying scene. TG

I had to quote this Ronnie as I was too polite to say Arse.

Trev.
Oh they both have their unmistakable charm... V1 as stated by your self has a humorous touch and 2 is a rural classic with the fine buildings as a bonus.
And... What a beautiful horse!
For some reason I can't view V2 but 1 as your lead photo is a good choice if at first you don't succeed try try again, just managed to get V2 up so an extra comment to say I like both shots
Great view point on V1 Ronnie, and a lovely looking Horse indeed.

An unusual and striking pov, Ronnie, very well found, and excellent camera skills to produce v1. v2 is a fine image but the vote goes to v1 for originality.
Dave
Two extremely beautifully composed images, which both capture the beauty and immense stature of this magnificent animal. Pin sharp focusing, and two images which I certainly admire. Version two being my particular favourite, full of character and charm.
Regards Nathan
Nice compositions on both images, superb detail and great caption!
