These are a huge beautiful powerful animal. Unfortunately I could not get any closer to the bear for a more powerful shot. This big lad just wanted to sleep in the sun and did'nt want to be disturbed. I hope you like it, best I could do.........JIM..![]()

Hi Jim
Good composition but the focus seems to be on the logs on the left and on the bear the focus is soft, from the exif info you have used f4.8. this is very shallow depth of field, at this setting your focus needs to be on the eyes, there was enough light to get f8 and still the background would have been defocused but the logs and eyes would then be in focus.
