Two Famous Doncaster built trains, Mallard built in 1936 and Eisenhower built 1937.
I stood for an age awaiting a people free shot and came very close to getting but the young Lad was fascinated with the model train , bottom left.
Shot taken at NRM York
Well captured Rock. Its difficult getting people free shots at the NRM. Been there a few times
I'd be waiting for people to walk into the frame... The little boy makes the picture for me.
wow great image so full of colour and what a sight to see these great locos togather
Excellent capture here Rock.
What a lovely and excellent image Rock !!
the we lad seem very engrossed in the model good capture
Great capture of these two icons of the steam era.
A well taken shot, I was in the Museum last week when they moved Dwight D Eisenhower into that position from the workshop
I have uploaded a image from that day
Marvelous colors here--- I am amused-- naming trains after a president and a duck???
Two stunning locomotives, well captured here, I love the Mallard.
The Mallard is a British icon. Have to admit I have never heard of its American cousin, though.
The inclusion of the lad gives scale.
