I know this is not anywhere near the standard of the great bird photographers on here, and it makes you appreciate how hard it is.
From the Lincolnshire steam rally at the weekend, got some quite good candids that might go up one day but this was from a very odd display in the main ring involving 4 owls, I'll put some others up to give an idea of the display tomorrow.

Great capture.
I agree wildlife photography has to be one of the hardest types of photography out , I mean getting these shots you at least know where your target is going to be and also have a clue what to expect. But out in the field you will need knowledge and stealth "& Sandwhiches" dont forget the sandwhiches. This though is a great example of where any budding wildlife photographer might try their hand and learn to master the camera skills neccasary for the final capture after the rest of the hard work And remember you dont need a new car next year spend it on a fast 500mm lens instead you know it makes sense![]()
lol @ sandwiches, I dont think I have the patience for bird photography ... or money for a new car.. this one will have to last another 5 years at least lol
thanks Pooch
