I'm back to cold wet weather and two roof leaks! Ah well, here is a themed series of 15 images from our recent trip to Spain.

I am fascinated by reflections, be they the conventional reflections on water as part of a landscape as in V's 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 15, more abstract as in V's 4, 5, 12 & 14, bounced off vehicles or windows and shiny surfaces as in V's 2, 7, & 13, or difficult to work out as in V11. In fact the more difficult they are to fathom out, the more they fascinate me.

While other photographers are adjusting their positions trying not to get reflections on shop windows, I am adjusting mine to try to capture as much of the reflection as I can. It is a lifelong fascination and I am sharing it in this set. As always V1 is not necessarily my favourite image but the one that I think makes the best thumbnail. (See if you can guess which one is my favourite.)

As you can see the light was variable. We had a cloudy day in Moraira on the 14th producing much subtler colours and reflections (V's 5 ,9, & 14) and from then on it was relentless, unforgiving sunshine where it was tricky getting the exposure right. Most were taken with the Canon but V12 was taken with the compact because everything was packed.

Anyway, thank you for looking. I hope that you enjoy at least some of them. Do tell me which ones you like as it is always fascinating to see things through the eyes of others.

The abstracts do appeal the most, so V4,5,12 and 14.
Also V3 for composition and V11 for puzzle appeal.
A very fine set so well presented Lynne.

without a doubt V5 is my favourite... tho would like to see it without the pale blue bit in the right hand bottom corner...
We lived on our yacht for many a year.... and with no t.v. etc the water was the amusement...
you have captured this well in V5.
In all an interesting set.....

I shall show you mines Lynne,if you show me yours. My favourite is V14 for that teasing bit of rust.I like V4 for these stupid fish thinking they are fishing rods being reflected in the water.I do not think V13 with the bike is your favourite.I have never been inside your wardrobe, but I will DEFINATELY eat my hat this time if you have a skin tight black leather catsuit like Honour Blackman wore in the James Bond film inside it !!

What...a great...set. Well spotted and so very well taken, Lynne. I really like how you've broken down reflections too...water, shiny solids, abstracts, etc. Never thought about that.

Ok...my favourite here is, hands down, the 'water snake' in V12.

Tell you what, though...for the light in them and the colours, I just love Vs 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 15.

My guess of your favourite: V4.

Followed very closely by a second guess of V12. Then V2.
