I'm back to cold wet weather and two roof leaks! Ah well, here is a themed series of 15 images from our recent trip to Spain.
I am fascinated by reflections, be they the conventional reflections on water as part of a landscape as in V's 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 15, more abstract as in V's 4, 5, 12 & 14, bounced off vehicles or windows and shiny surfaces as in V's 2, 7, & 13, or difficult to work out as in V11. In fact the more difficult they are to fathom out, the more they fascinate me.
While other photographers are adjusting their positions trying not to get reflections on shop windows, I am adjusting mine to try to capture as much of the reflection as I can. It is a lifelong fascination and I am sharing it in this set. As always V1 is not necessarily my favourite image but the one that I think makes the best thumbnail. (See if you can guess which one is my favourite.)
As you can see the light was variable. We had a cloudy day in Moraira on the 14th producing much subtler colours and reflections (V's 5 ,9, & 14) and from then on it was relentless, unforgiving sunshine where it was tricky getting the exposure right. Most were taken with the Canon but V12 was taken with the compact because everything was packed.
Anyway, thank you for looking. I hope that you enjoy at least some of them. Do tell me which ones you like as it is always fascinating to see things through the eyes of others.
