Good Afternoon All Who Are Online Now!

As many years ago, the school of black and white photography
in the Czech Republic is still strong.

Some recognized masters reject modern trends of the trade and work with films cameras.

Here’s my black and white photo of Prague, a tribute to the art of old Masters.

I hope you will like it.

Tomorrow is a new series Autogramiáda.

Have a great day!
George Rusky

Black and whit is alive and well today in some circles-- film or digital conversions-- the conversions are as much an art as the darkroom-- this has a great vintage feel to it-- Very well done!

George excellent scene with the mono tone giving it a well deserved old feel just as the masters would have seen it!

Like the way this is toned down George, and actually that dark shadow triangulating across the picture just adds a tremendous depth to the whole image. Nice in sepia too.... properly dressed I'd say and a great image (oh and nice to see the lettering shrunk a little too (sorry arghhhhhhhhhhh???!!!) helen x

Excellent stuff George. I often prefer B&W to colour as it makes people use their imaginations a bit more, I aslo feel that it is far more flattering for portraiture as well. The sepia toning is a fitting tribute to the old Masters. Prague looks such a beautiful city that I feel I should visit one day soon. Cracking shot, as usual, and looking forward to your mext series.

Hi George,
Wonderful tribute! I love the sepia tones to this image and how you have really captured the detail in the buildings. The moody sky creates a perfect balance in the colouring to me, and as usual - excellent composition!! Glad to be number 30!
Looking forward to the new series!
-hoping you had a great weekend - it was very hot here and took a few shots by the ocean - will be posting one tonight.
cheers!
Debbie

very nice architecture. I find myself really drawn to all of the different tones of light golden brown to darker browns in the image...from the sky toning to the tree..very nicely done.
