Not sure that the hands look too comfortable, she looks a bit too self-conscious. Also would be nice if she was looking towards the camera a bit more

I'm not too concerned about the hands. At this stage she's unlikely to be comfortable and to me it looks natural enough.

Have you tried printing this out yet? I've noticed that there is a little noise in the background (look at it under 'replace colour', pull the slider right down and then click the dropper on the background). There's some noise around her face which may show up as a grubby mark on a print, so I've found. Hope this is useful.
A cracking portrait.

Jude

Thanks everybody - I did plenty of poses, and some certainly look more comfortable, but there is a gracefulness about this one which I really like - although I know what you mean about the comfort element.

Jude - wow, you've got eagle eyes! you've picked up on my slightly shoddy PS job on the background, consider my wrist slapped! (thanks for that - I'll make sure I tidy it up!)

Cheryl - one looking towards camera coming up tomorrow potentially. Thanks for the modified version - I like the joke - and if she has a boy then it'll be even more apt.

Thanks
Paul

Not eagle eyes, just something I always check on mine now since Steffi Lewis picked me up on it!
