This was taken the other day, the model is Jodie Guest who is a fellow photographer from college.
This is part of a series of images where I am trying to get used to a Hasselblad Digital. I've found many of the images are out of focus which is a bummer. When they are in focus though they are like nothing I've ever seen. It's like a microscope. Anyone who knows how to use the crystal range finder thing on this piece of kit, feel free to let me know Smile

Understated colour, tone, expression, all work well to achieve the 50's look.

Thanks very much. Was very tempted to make the background more saturated but I'm sure that would have taken it out of the 50's category. I probably should have done more research for this feel, I'm glad if I got it right anyway Smile

Great picure. Love the subdued colours. Really evocative of the period.
